Christine Nguku: Practicing journalism amidst hate speech and incitement to violence

In this interview, Christine Nguku, a veteran Kenyan broadcast journalist and the Assistant Director of Training and Curriculum Development, Media Council of Kenya, discusses the responsibilities of Sudanese journalists in an environment filled with hate speech and incitement to violence. She also discusses the journey of Kenyan media as it professionalised in the wake of Kenya’s 2007/2008 post-election violence.
