Ameir Suliman: Monitoring and documenting human rights violations in times of conflict

Ameir Mohammad Suliman, is a Sudanese lawyer and human rights activist. He is a co-founder of the African Centre for Justice and Peace Studies, a Sudanese human rights organisation based in Kampala. He is currently the director of the legal program at the centre.

In this video, he discusses among others, the challenges of monitoring and documenting human rights violations amid the ongoing conflict in Sudan, shedding light on best practices that documenters can employ in their work.
